Our Mission
The Perquimans County Restoration Association, as the director of the Newbold-White House, is a non-profit education
association that strives to foster in Perquimans County, the surrounding area and throughout the United States a respect and reverence for the past by collecting, preserving and interpreting the history of the county; from Native American occupation until the present, with a special emphasis on the period 1730- 1750’s. This purpose shall be carried out by the
collection of artifacts, furnishings, documents and other cultural materials; preserving them; and interpreting them to the public by means of a museum, education program, letters, presentation, exhibits and public events.
